A real person behind the shipment

Ship Lane exists because car shipping should not start with a lowball quote and end with a dozen broker calls. Michael Broughton built Ship Lane to show a real online price, book a verified carrier, and keep the customer inside one accountable flow.

The same booking engine powers the next step.

Accountability

Why I started Ship Lane

The auto-transport category teaches customers to expect spam calls, unclear pricing, and vague carrier handoffs. Ship Lane is built in the opposite direction: show the price online, keep the booking and payment path in one place, dispatch through verified carrier workflows, and give customers a clear way to reach the person responsible for the experience.

Founder promise

“You should be able to see the price, know who is responsible, and book without your phone number being sold to broker networks.”

The founder video slot will go live only after a real production asset is ready. Until then, Ship Lane uses written accountability instead of a stock spokesperson or fake testimonial.

What that means for customers

Founder trust in practice

Direct email

mike@shiplaneus.com is published because customers should not have to hunt for accountability after booking.

No broker-spam model

Ship Lane does not sell phone numbers to lead networks or third-party brokers. Shipment contact details stay tied to the booking and coordination workflow.

Plain role clarity

Ship Lane is the booking and broker layer. FMCSA-authorized carriers perform the physical transport.

Book once the company feels real

The booking flow uses the same Ship Lane product: route-backed price, Stripe checkout, Super Dispatch carrier workflows, and order-linked tracking.
